Do you have to give everything up to start a business? Not necessarily, according to the entrepreneurs we asked in our Web series.

Before making the big leap, a budding entrepreneur can make part-time arrangements first. By putting a good game plan in place, meeting relevant mentors and carefully analyzing the market, this process brings together the winning conditions to build a solid business.

Antoine Bisson of Poka agrees with this.

« It is possible, from the beginning - while having a regular job - to think about a game plan, to see who could accompany you on this adventure, to surround yourself with mentors, to validate your idea and to consider how it might evolve. It is quite feasible, no doubt. »

Antoine Bisson

However, to really give your business the best chance for success, an entrepreneur needs to be fully involved at one point.

"If you really want a business to work, a safety net can prevent you from really going for it. "
- François-Thomas Michaud
