The 2016 Desjardins Entrepreneur Awards recognize entrepreneurs throughout Quebec who stand out because of their achievements, financial performance and community contributions.

    On the occasion of this 11th edition, two new categories have been added to the previous year’s list of award categories, which are as follows:

  • Co-operative Support Fund for Farmers
  • Real Estate
  • Innovation and Productivity
  • Young Entrepreneur
  • Non-profit Organization *new in 2016 2016
  • Business Ownership Transfer
  • Business Leadership


Regional winners are selected for Eastern Quebec, Central Quebec and Western Quebec/Ontario. A film crew will visit the business of each winner in order to produce a video highlighting the outstanding achievements that led them to win the Desjardins Award. In addition to receiving increased visibility, the regional winners will be invited to a gala in November 2016 where an overall winner will be announced for each category.

32 MARS was the national winner in 2014 in the Young Entrepreneur category. Established in Quebec City in 2011 by Simon Allard, Guillaume Genest, Steeve Marin and Simon Veilleux, 32 MARS is a growing company with scores of major achievements in advertising campaigns, design and interactive marketing.
